The Seagate Exos X22 22TB (ST22000NM001E) is a top-capacity, hyperscale data-center drive for enterprise arrays that need maximum density per bay without moving to SMR. It is helium-sealed CMR, supports both 512e and 4Kn via FastFormat, and delivers up to about 285 MB/s sustained transfer with a 2.5M-hour MTBF. It is the data-center counterpart to the IronWolf Pro 22TB: same capacity, tuned for large RAID arrays rather than NAS.
