The Dell 407-BCGJ is a Dell-coded SFP28 optical transceiver for 25GbE short-reach links over multimode fibre, the module you pair with a Dell 25G NIC or switch port to run fibre instead of a copper DAC when the endpoints are more than a few metres apart. It is an 850nm SR module with an LC duplex connector, reaching up to 100m on OM4 fibre. Because it is coded for Dell, it links cleanly on Dell PowerSwitch and PowerEdge gear. What it's coded for: Coded for Dell switches and adapters. Use two per link (one each end) with matching OM3/OM4 duplex fibre and LC connectors. For non-Dell gear, tell us and we match a correctly coded module.
